Financial Manager-Enterprise Risk Management

Offsite/Fort Belvoir, VA

Savantage Solutions is seeking a Financial Manager to join our professional services team. The successful candidate will support a government agency in a wide range of financial, budget, resource, and program management activities. 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Federal executives, Chief Risk Officers, Program Managers, and functional leaders in developing and deploying strategic risk management programs and processes that might include the following: assessing risk management capabilities and providing improvement recommendations, identifying and assessing enterprise risks, designing and implementing ERM programs and risk governance structures, establishing Chief Risk Officer (CRO) programs, providing ERM training, developing and implementing ERM processes, and managing the selection and implementation of ERM systems.
  • Provide an end-to-end capability to assist with all aspects of managing risk, including governance, risk data and infrastructure, measurement and reporting, and change management. Our services cover various risk types including strategic, operational, compliance, reputational, project and program integrity, and security risks.
  • Work with the organization to ensure ERM is integrated into business and strategic processes.
  • Identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's operational and strategic risk.
  • Develop ERM tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an ERM framework.
  • Ensure the organization's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations and strategic imperatives of the organization.
  • Monitor and analyzes risks within the organization’s business units and reports on these risks to the risk committees.
  • Provide key inputs into the organization’s risk committees that oversees the ERM process and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and deliver frequent presentations to senior executives.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support executive portfolio management and decision-making activities.
  • Facilitate governance meetings to review the status of high-profile activities against strategic goals and objectives.
  • Provide continuous strategic performance, risk, and project portfolio management support to executives, managers, and agency staff.
  • Support strategic business planning by facilitating project and program requirements analysis sessions. Create and deliver strategic, risk, and portfolio management training and materials.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

The candidate must have:

  • Secret clearance
  • Financial Management experience desired
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience

 Education and Certification

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
