Oracle EBS Functional Analyst

Remote - Rockville, MD

Savantage Solutions is seeking an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will assist in gathering, refining, and documenting client business requirements for software changes. You will analyze these requirements and help translate them into design solutions across various projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop project artifacts such as system requirements documents, test plans, and test scripts in line with project schedules.
  • Create functional design and configuration documents.
  • Provide support with clarifying and revising requirements throughout the release cycle.
  • Participate in and support customer and stakeholder meetings.
  • Document discussions and decisions from project meetings.
  • Work with technical and quality assurance teams to ensure requirements are clear and actionable.
  • Perform functional testing of developed solutions.
  • Update documentation, including requirements traceability matrices (RTM), after each release.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with developers and other team members.
  • Follow system development life cycle (SDLC) guidelines to ensure documentation meets required standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Help oversee integrations and data migrations.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

 The candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent education/experience in accounting or information technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a functional or requirements analyst for Oracle EBS Federal Financials and Projects R12.
  • Basic experience in systems and data analysis and understanding of the SDLC.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum is a plus.
  • Experience with G-Invoicing is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project is a plus.

  Education and Certifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.
