Oracle EBS Functional Expert -Tester/Trainer

Remote - Rockville, MD

Savantage Solutions is currently looking for an Oracle EBS Functional Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for quality assurance testing, creation of training materials and training delivery. In this role you will work closely with development and requirements team to ensure high-quality testing and training.

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, among others:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans and cases that align with project requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct QA testing to identify software defects and ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  • Analyze test results, document defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards throughout the testing process.
  • Assist with the scheduling, coordination, preparation, and delivery of training for Federal agency customers.
  • Assist with updates of all training materials: training manuals, webinar slides, presentations, quick reference cards, release enhancement briefings, etc.
  • Provide software instruction to the company’s customers on an individual or group basis in a classroom or virtual setting.
  • Provide clarifications and revisions as needed throughout the release cycle.
  • Work within the system development life cycle (SDLC) guidelines to ensure all documentation adheres to required guidance.
  •  Facilitate and participate in customer and stakeholder meetings.

 

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in an accounting or information technology field.
  • Minimum of 7 years as a functional expert implementing Oracle EBS Federal Financials and Projects R12.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems and/or data analysis and the SDLC.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload and maintain schedules and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio and Project is a plus.
  • Experience with Solutions Business Manager (SBM), Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, etc., is a plus.

 

Education and Certifications

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related IT field.
  • Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
